Course Objectives The aim of this course is to give knowledge on chemical risk factors affecting occupational health and safety, control and prevention from them.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to classify chemicals that affect the health of employees in the workplace
  • Will be able to define the dusts, gases and vapors, carcinogens, mutagens and teratogenic substances that affect the health of the workers in the workplace and list the measures to be taken
  • Will be able to have knowledge about the transport, storage and control of chemicals
  • Will be able to make risk analysis of chemical risk factors
Course Description This course introduces the importance of general information about the identification and classification, storage, transport and labeling of chemicals and business health.
